Was tempted to meet you guys at KFC just to say hello. Knew I would be too tempted to follow you out.... So decided against it.

Good to see you had a great time. Would have liked to see how well those light bars performed.

Looks like it was a great night! Thanks for the photos.

I saw that XJ a few weeks ago. At the time when we were there it wasn't burnt out and it had only recently been dumped. The motor was blown as they used a rock to hold down the throttle. Ratbags!

It was reported to the police by another guy we met on the trail. It was owned by a French backpacker and had NT rego.

Azzholes - I thought it might have been stolen. Rear axle is now missing and who knows what else.
There was another vehicle dumped not far from the XJ - early Pajero maybe? Not sure.
I hope The Powerlines doesn't become another car dump.

I agree, Wes. I think I better not start. A whole thread of me ranting about these pricks would still not clear my chest.

Sorry for the late reply .Got home ok , used 2nd to 4th , until I got back to civilization then 1st to 3rd to avoid excessive clutch applications .Big thanks to all who helped getting me up and mobile, And WES for the escort back to the main road, Thanks also to Marko for running the trip. :On a side note burnt out wrecked cars are a very good reason not to leave your own broken down vehicle unattended any where as these ( people ?) usually target unattended vehicles.:
