i beat on my 45k jk it doesnt mean it comes back smashed to pieces like some people are refering it is useing it for what it was designed as i said watching some of the flatties get beaten on in the test track at jambo was fantastic but they wheren't "damaged" because of it

I'd enjoy it and drive it but wouldn't trash it and they are rare, but so is my 60 year old CJ3A. I plan on doing a full resto and driving it in a similar fashion to they way Dave Parkinson drives Emu, he has fun with it and puts it under pressure but it is original and maintained very well.

No doubt it was beaten within an inch of its life once already and its come back again for more....

Then rebuild it.
Then beat it some more.

Well not ones with stars and us army all over em :) Unless you cheeky soldier types flogged em from the yanks and went bashin through the jungles.

That's generally what happened, and still does happen ;-)

The US Army's head office/quarters donated, un-be-knownst to them, me and my mates with a much needed air conditioner when in Timor back in 99/00. Several vehicles were also borrowed for periods of time. They just don't care about dollars and cents at the end of the day so these items are just written off.
