Do not use silicon! Us the urethane as I mentioned in the instructions you get with it. Most silicons will eat your paint work and even the neutral ones are not designed to adhere to the poly the snorkel is made from.

Default Hard work has been done.

Well have finally gotten the snorkel on. Wentg down to pick the car up from my brothers workshop at Palm Beach. Got down there and he had already started to install it. (He had the honour of cutting the guard, I couldn`t do it). Anyway he basicaly had the thing on so I took over and did the rest, cut the airbox to suit the adaptor plate, this was realitively easy no hard bits here. Then moved onto the next part of drilling the hole near the radiator support to fit it all up. Cut the hole used some paint and kill rust to stop the nasty red. Will probably do a proper write up on it if any1 is interested, if not saves some time on the keyboard. Below is a few pics of the end result.

Does the Safari snorkel go into the front or the back of the box like the airflow one?

Any pics of the air box mods?

The safari goes into the front but I modified mine to come into the side and cut down on several bends in the pipe.

Cheers
Steve
