I am in Mackay and am familiar with the AJOR way of life, just got back from a weekend camping at Greenhill beach, great beach camp site, took the J10 and WH. I work out over the hill so am not in town all the time. I have not done any decent 4WD tracks around the place yet but will get there one day. A few weeks ago went down to LCMP for the independence day run with CRDSTU's organised group with the WH. Have a '79 Chief in the shed in a million bits doing it up, it won't be a show car but made for fun on a very limited budget.
Would love to go check out the Captains Crossing loop one weekend as I have heard some good reports on it.
