Update time. Been working on a non Jeep project I promised my wife would be done by Christmas, so now it's done it's all systems go again.

I've pulled down what will be the front diff and it is booked in to have an air locker fitted on Monday the 11th.

Took a couple of pics to try and show that size really does matter.

This is a Dana 44, Dana 60 and the Rockwell air locker.

Comparison between a CJ5 Dana 30 axle with the small unis, cause it's all I had laying around, and the Rockwell uni joints.

This is a Dana 44 crown wheel compared to what they call the bull gear in a Rockwell.

Those pictures should appear in a dictionary when you look up the definition of BEEFY

Got the first of a couple of goodies from the US today.

The cats name is CJ, he's getting a bit old and has lost a bit of weight and is just under 8kg now (we already had him). The high clearance Rockwell skid, two of which arrived today, is over 9.5 kg.

This is what they will look like when fitted soon. The diff is upside down here, you are looking at the bottom.

While I had the scales out I was curious to know how heavy the wheels and tyres are. 108kg each.
