But not to sure about the one at the console. It does have that small t handle to shift to 4 low tho.
I guess I'll find out when I pick it up.

Does that anniversary edition mean anything?
From what I have learned the 2006 model had "65th Anniversary Edition" badges and similar markings on the front seat backrests. That must mean that mine, and yours will be the 66th Anniversary Edition. Marketing, I think.

The QDII badge is on the centre console, just in front of the lidded storage bin near the 4WD diff lock selector lever.

Great traveling vehicle with all of the bells and whistles but occasionally subject to a few electronic gremlins because of things like rusty wheel sensors. They make the ABS and the EBC work. Good luck.

The T handle is the same with or without QDII unfortunately.
If you look at the top of the rear diff (you'll need to crouch a bit.), QDII will have a wiring loom running down to a connector on the top-passenger side of the diff. The diff cover will also have 12 bolts instead've 10.

Sorry to take the tread off topic, but can you explain this a bit?

My concern (with any car.) is that when the axle/diff is cooled down quickly by the water, a negative pressure is created, and if the breather is blocked, water can be drawn in past seals.
If water can't get in through the breather while the diffs are working, wouldn't that mean there'd be a negative pressure on the seals as everything cools?

I try to lurch into the water real slowly to let everything cool and equalise a bit before the breather is submerged (possibly, I never thought about the air pocket - that's a good point!).
