I have a spare wheel roof rack now
(it fits to the factory rails), it is placed at the back of the roof.
I only have the standard size wheels and tyres on my XJ.
I wanted to put a smallish basket infront of that. So I could put roof-mounted spotties infront.
And put 2 reverse spot lights off the back.
I dont want much weight on the roof.

Its good to get the spare wheel out of the car.
But the extra lights would help.

5 days and the roof rack is starting to rust!
Its around the bolts and a few spots on the ends.
