EGT gauges should be standard fitment to all turbo cars IMO.
You can buy the kits from numerous places. I got mine from the US (google dynotunenitrous) and went for a small rectangular digital gauge.
To fit the 1/8"BSP socket in the exhaust pipe I would suggest you go to an exhaust shop. They will have to remove the downpipe which includes the Cat, and to do this you also have to remove the transmission cross member.
I did all the remove and replace myself, drilling the hole in the pipe etc, just had the guy weld in the socket for me. The only problem I had was that I had to run a tap through the socket after welding due to distortion from the heat.
Then find a power source and mounting point for the gauge. Easypeasy
