OIIIO,

The financial controller has just released $500 for me to start with so its going to be a slow process. Will start with some of the wants first.

Had to work today so I couldnt go out and tomorrow is yet to be decided.

Mate with an upgraded steering dampener, I'd look into relocation brackets for it - if they're even available. Most vulnerable part on the JK right now is the steering dampener, it's just exposed to everything on the trails....easily damaged. For example, sliding on logs with ATRs planting the JK right on it with the dampner...

I'm replacing mine with the RE dampener - was going to buy the Ranchos - but considering how likely it might get damaged again - i'm going for something cheaper.... $80 a pop isn't too bad.

Mojo,

This is the one I was looking at from 4xfix,

http://www.4xfix.com/#Jeep_JK_Steeri...Relocation_Kit

Then also the replacement dampener.

Thanks JTO, never knew about this crowd. With the relocation kit, will it work on Oz models? Our steering dampener is on the passenger side...

Silver JK has one and I will see how his went. Most of the 4xfix kit can be bought here in oz at ozadventure from this forum at good prices except for the steering kit.

JTO.
