90% seems pretty reasonable

The ORG gets you a d44 front, rear locker, disconnectable swaybars - all you really need to add is the front locker.
You could argue about the transfer case, but as you wouldn't have a gutless minivan engine the 4:1 transfer case is not really necessary.

I thought the ORG gave you swaybar and rear locker plus 3.73 ratio's I haven't heard anything about a front d44

Would have done the same leaving the extra cash for more mods.
Only buy the CRD if towing heaps driving huge miles and or rock crawling,
I don't do any of those things.

With the 3.73 ratio on the CRD how does that perform off road compared to the rubi with its super low ratio?
Would it be that noticable for a weekend warrior type setup. Touring, daily driver and fun machine?

I do beleive though that the petrol sport unlimited auto has sold the most units to date though and if it was not for the wait to build etc I think alot more would have bought the CRD.

Its fine mate.

It isn't the best for rock crawling but how often are you going to be doing this in your $40,000 car?

Mine is an auto which has 3.73 standard. Downhill engine braking in low range is excellent, better than my old Patrol 4.2L Diesel. And its not difficult to touch the brakes to bring the speed back down, or unsafe. I think I'd prefer 4.11s though.

ORG doesnt give you a D44 upfront but wishful thinking anyway
