After viewing this product there was no sign of a jeep only cruzers

The army used a similar system for years last century. The old Series II Landrovers had capstans fitted to the wheel hubs. They could winch with them in the same way that the winches are used on racing yachts. I never saw one used so I can't say how effective they were.

The wheel winch is supposed to be very safe to use when used properly... Slowly without hard acceleration.
