New shoes for the Jeep. YOKOHAMA GO12 255/70R16.
Ride has dramatically improved, over stock tires.

Just placed an order for the same tires but 235/70 R16 for the wife's KJ. They are going on this Friday. Hear only good things about them.
Had Cooper AT3 for the last 90'km on her Jeep. They were not bad either but a tad noisy.

Yes Daz you are correct. Was probably just a simple oversight but well intended.
I got the tensioner from Clarky's link. USautoparts.com.au had it in stock but for $399 plus 10% tax which they don't advertise on their website..at least not from what I saw anyway. Got a new belt put in as well.

Some feedback on the Yokohama Geolandar tyres I recently had fitted.

Compared to the stock Goodyear Wrangler, the Yokohamas are more supple and seems to absorb more road noise. I currently have them inflated to 36psi. Bob Jane had the Yokos on 40psi, but personally I wouldn't go more than 38psi.

I have yet to find out how much worse fuel consumption is by going to 255/70R16.
