I was told by my dealer in Toowoomba that there is a fix coming from Jeep USA and all the diesel's will be recalled for a refit.

Cheers John
the post after yours said that there is a fix and a recall for all diesels mate. looks like your thread and a steve's fix and all the rest of us bitching has got results after all. after 2.5 f@#$%^g years. after some have used steve's fix, some (like me) have spent 1800 bucks on a long range tank, and heaps of others have just complained loudly and suffered on with the frustration and laughter and abuse at service stations. what great service and backup from chrysler. wonder if an apology from the company and from the dealers will come with the recall.

i wonder if chrysler will instruct the perth dealers to repair the damage they have done to my vehicle now, the original problem ocurred at wanneroo apparently because i made public comments about the faulty vehicle on the jeep club website, and continued at dvg where the brakes were to become faulty, the gearbox has been stolen and replaced with a piece of crap, the clutch master cylinder became faulty, the brake master cylinder became faulty. the fuel gauge became faulty and a noise comes from the engine bay when the aircon operates on a hot day. their service manager at one stage told me he was aware of this and was prepared to fix the problems, till dropped the vehicle off, with a letter concerning consumer protection and a compalint number from chrysler corp, and the vehicle came back unfixed. these are the kind of things we have suffered because of chrysler and their attitude to customers problems and complaints. (end of rant). but it seems at least we may be getting somewhere with the slow fill fix if the posts here are correct. god lets hope fiat can make a difference.

If you have bought a JK Wrangler from new or even better if you ordered one prior to their release, then you definitely have Patience, by the truck load. It's a Jeep thing.
