Hey Gojeep,

I wouldn't know where to start with something like this and to be honest half the stuff you say goes right over my head but I still eagerly read every post. I'm love seeing people build things for themselves and I'm always amazed by the ingenuity (at least from my perspective) in how you make the parts (or more importantly make them right) and the quality of the finish. Can't wait to see how it takes shape.

Well GoJeep, I don't know what to (F'n) say anymore. Can it get better than this? I just showed your work to my family, they looked at me strangely, like, why am I so excited about it? LOL.

Love your work man!

Glad you guys can appreciate the work involved to produce something that looks simple once finished. None of my friends and family can see where the time went as all looks stock to them. Guess that is what I am going for though, as want things to blend in together. Some times I wonder what I have done with my time and going over the thread reminds me that some thing has progressed.
Just building some trestles to support the frame at the moment. Got to be strong enough to handle the full weight of the HEMI and the rest of the drive train as well later on. No way the cheap Aldi ones I was using were going to that. Both sets have already sagged under the weight of the rails being rolled around on them all the time.

Was walking around under my son's HiLux the other day doing some work on it and looking at the welds, mounts and crossmembers made me think of your build, it's going to be a shame to cover all that lovely work you have done up with paint and panels, truly something to be proud of.
The Hi Lux makes my welds look pretty good.

I remember my Hilux being pretty bad too. I know my boss would not have let me get away with welds that bad, and I was only making industrial fans at the time!
