Let the build begin I have been wanting to do this for years But the real XJ's always needed attention Now finally they are both fixed it's time for Mini Me The chassis and inner guards arrived today and the hard body is only days away by the time I build it and get the electronics it might be worth as a real XJ

No the Injora chassis kit is 4 link there is a leaf spring conversion kit I have seen I am new to this RC stuff so I figured a chassis and a body start from there No electronics as yet I put it all together fitted the inner fenders and wheels properly Just waiting on the body now
In the real world the 96 is running great since the timing chain was done a new engine

The body arrived today and now it's a XJ still a long way to go but it's a XJ and that's the latest from Obsession World ... I got the rego renewal for the 99 due late march it's hard to believe it has been on the road for 12 months ............. shit time flies


I have to get the paint code for Dark Green
It has to be a real XJ colour

Well not a lot to report .. everything is running fine and we are going bush in the 96 tomorrow Herbie needs a fun run
I test fitted the body on the chassis and found out the inner guards (optional extra) but look so cool and were only $20 need a bit more trimming I had to cut out around the shock towers to get them to fit correctly and some small zip ties to pull them up straight Now that I have the nose and rear bumper on I will need to pull the rear together a bit to make them straight.
The RC world is unreal you can make things look so realistic The electronics are the next $ learning curve But until then I am ready to go to undercoat . And talk about realism I found on a US RC site Raised metal badges $6 USD about 10 for us but about $20 postage I could not resist sport or limited 4 liter or 2.5 your choice Mini me will be a 4 liter forest green limited I have a roof rack coming $14 free post and its metal
So all the Jeep action is on mini me There is a good RC Cherokee FB group with great pics and vids on it So Realistic
