Finally got around to install the front tow hooks. Had to remove the bumper to be able to fit the metal plate bracket and took me a couple hours. Also installed the used skid plates I bought and the nutserts were a pain in the ass to install without the special tool.

Default Good thread now for some help

Great thread, not only is it interesting but it gives people ideas about what to do with their Jeep. (I bought a Jeep... What colour??) OK well I'm getting my 06 3.7LTR pressure cleaned and fish oiled underneath today. But I wanted to let you guys in on an interesting fix. Don't know how many of you have had the RH side (drivers) windows reg let go but its a tiny bit of white nylon that breaks. Ten cents worth of nylon and you have to buy a new Jeep ($400) regulator motor and everything or a new window lifter which is going to break again or... you could buy a steel repair kit. It may be almost $200 all up but its made of steel and will never ever ever break again and we all know the drivers side window gets used the most.

So I have a question. How do you install an after market sound system without destroying the original fascia? Or do you pull the original out (keep it for originality purposes) and make up a new fascia?

This will help. Then by a kit off eBay that has a little compartment and the above will allow you to install a single din unit. Otherwise you can buy a double din unit and install that.

My rear left windows regulator broke, but I ordered a new complete unit for $39 from Ebay including delivery (some aftermarket). However I just noticed that for some reason it has gone up to $79. Now I wish I bought the right handside as well. The quality looks very good.
