Switch wired and trim back in place! Doesn't look too bad if I do say so myself

Bottom led comes on when light is switched on, top led is on with driving lamps

Awesome work mate. Looks very nice I must say.
Was wondering myself where to put those switches. How many of the switches do you think you could put there next to each other? Where did you by them from may I ask too?

With a little more cutting you could possible fit another of that size switch and housing there. Using the smaller round type switches though easily 5 along that trim panel. The good thing about having them there is you can tap into the existing factory light bar wiring harness with terminal pins so you dont have to go splicing into wires

Switches are an ebay special with link below of where I got them from -

Default What did you do to your KJ today?

My first post on this forum... this is my son's '04 KJ (petrol) which he bought a couple of months ago. We're just starting his build. Last weekend it was installation of the snorkel and a new set of 245/75r16 A/Ts. Tomorrow it's booked in for a modest lift. A bullbar is next on the list.
He loves the car and it's perfect for the kind of off-roading he wants to do and where he's at in life.
Unfortunately a fault code appeared after installing the snorkel, so that needs to be investigated. I'm suspecting it's something to do with the MAF sensor, but we'll see...

FWIW I have a couple of highly modified 4WDs. They aren't Jeeps, but at least they're not Nissotas either...

Had the OME lift installed today. Will take the "after" measurements tomorrow to see what we actually got.
The error code was easy to fix. The Air Intake Temperature sensor hadn't been reconnected, so I fixed that and cleared the fault code. Happy days!

Edit: Actual lift was 45mm.

Installed a Provent, using the instructions on this forum with a few small changes, replaced the rear shocks
replaced the hose between the AFM and the turbo which was completely fractured through at the turbo end!
replaced the front disc pads and reground the rotors
replaced the cam belts and pulleys and the serpentine belt
replaced the thermostat and housing

Results - the car now warms up quickly and runs quietly, it does not bounce around like jelly on springs, it pulls up without any brake pedal 'bounce', the serpentine belt doesn't squeak. Also I'd imagine that now that AFM is giving the correct signal to the computer I should get better fuel economy, especially as the engine will now warm up. For the first time since owning it I gave it a proper bootful and was amazed at how well it goes.

Tomorrow will replace the blower fan resistor so I have a full set of blower settings. Next week I'm looking forward to giving it a nice long run.
