$600????? Where did you get it for that price?

G'day SeaComms,

I phoned ARB Ballarat and I was quoted $700 supplied for one bar. Then asked what best price he could do for two of them and he gave me a quote for $600. So took the quote to my nearest store, ARB Geelong and they offered to match the price as I had a quote in writing. I was then advised by ARB Geelong that the trade price for this bar is $647

My Cousin and I always buy more than one item when we are buying aftermarket parts for our JK's as it gives us more play as consumers and lets be honest, as consumers we need as much play as we can get!!

[QUOTE=SharpWraX;1320121]Fitted AntennaX stubby, Poison Spyder armour, rear AEV Diff Slider and Delta light mounts,

Hey SharpWrax,

What are the wheels that you are running? Are they 35" tyres? they look to sit nicely under your guards. What is the offset and backspacing?

Jk is looking good. Looking forward to you doing a production run of the Wrax for the unlimited.

Cheers, Bill

Thanks Bill. wheels are Rugged Ridge 17x9 with 4.56 BS. Tyres MTZ 35's. When I had Bushwacker pockets edge of tyre was right on the flare edge perfect. With the trailmods fit is almost as good... maybe 5-10mm out of edge. Not enough to worry about I think.

Hey mate,

standard tyres are 245/75/17 so equilivant to 31", next month getting a set of 285/70/17 or equilivant to 33" to fill the guards and get some better traction.

starter kit is good, ill tell you how good once ive got this DW issue fixed on thursday, ill be getting swaybar etc all sorted then as well, untill such time im limping it around at 60kmh just to get to work 3km away. (no highway work for me)

I optioned the terraflex shocks as the starter kit only comes with shock extenders, I would recomend this highly as stock stocks are woeful and worth the $330 extra.

come thursday when I get it back with my sway bars and quick disconnects fitted ill let you all know how it rides/feels or if its really worth the $$.

must say Bill at DBOR has been great to deal with, apologised about the bush and has sent me one up express post so I can get it all sorted

awesome UNR8D, cant wait to hear how it all goes...as for me well

This weekend i adjusted the handbrake...oh was that fun..
both rear wheels off
calipers off
drums/disc housings off
tap out dust
swizzle screw adjusters a couple times till disc housing it tight to fit
put calipers back on
put wheels back on and hey presto all done
30mins a side...fun, but painful...why cant they just have designed it like a ford falcon, where instead of using the flat screw driver on its side either at the top or the bottom, you just put it in and flick upwards. The other thing i noticed was when adjusting this thread as you flick it to tighten/loosen your kinda bumping your screw driver against the abs sensor plug/wiring harness...didnt think of that did they...plus the adjustment is behind the dam caliper too. PITA

Also the other thing i did was with the diesel power module i changed from the recommended setting 9 to 5 and the engine is much smoother and seems to be more responsive...I dont know why but am happy with the change.
