Default Wow!! I'm glad I found this site....

Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie here and I guess this is the place to introduce myself.
I am recently retired and after working over 43 years at Chrysler Aust. Ltd and more recentley known as MMAL, in press tool manufacture. My function was Cad-Cam, programming the large CNC machine's, generating and creating machine tool cutter paths via Delcams PowerMill and Catia V5.
Anyway that's all over and done with now, so I'm in the market for a 4WD. I know I could get a Mitsubishi vehicle and still get employee discount, but there's something about those rugged good looks of the new JK Jeep Wrangler I can't resist. Reminds me of myself really....ha ha.
As I said, in the title, I'm really glad I found this site, because I have been stumbling around different web-sites trying to found out all I can before approaching a dealer. Even the Jeep Australia site is a little confusing , but there's nothing better getting info straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.
I've dabbled in another 4WD website for a few weeks, maybe months now, but there's not a lot about Jeep. So I hope I feel comfortable here, as what I have been reading so far I have been impressed with and I love the photo's. I have a few burning questions about the different vehicles, so I had better ask them in the general forum.

Thanks,

Silver Streak.
