WJ/WG and the WH are 100% a different snorkel.

I am of the understanding things will progress sooner than later...

Yes I really do hope people support these from Michael after all the hours and hours he has in getting them up and going.

Although it's a backside covering comment - I'm just worried about the following wording in the installation procedures:

".... Important note: Do not turn the Air Ram away from the direction of
travel because it will lessen the positive pressure necessary for proper
operation. In extreme situation, at speed above 25km/h (15m/h) a
vacuum may be generated causing irreversible engine damage ....."




Do they mean that if the air ram is turned around that a vacuum may be generated? Maybe this can be better explained to give me some comfort?

It's not a backside covering comment? It is a mechanical fact, the snorkel opening needs to face into the air for the ram air effect it is designed to achieve.

The moulding looks good until you reach the top, that ram scoop looks bloody horrible.
The price is nice though. I will have to get one.

Why would you turn it around I would like to know?

So I guess that means that once it's installed, you can no longer travel backwards at speeds greater than 25km/hr......
