You may want to check your front drive shaft as well, I doubt that it was designed to accommodate those angles that would have been induced.
Not for your benefit jktom but for others in addition to your suggestion. You never undo both LCAs or UCAs at once, if you need to get them exactly the same set one, mark the length on the bench refit and then do the other using your marks.

or buy the poly arms which adjust on the vehicle!

Doing an alignment on my jeep, want to get rid of the wandering feeling will be taking note of what the castor and I'll adjust if needed, but what toe degree is everyone adjusting to, I have seen 1mm or 2mm in?

Wow thats high. I always tried to keep mine around 5. Spec is 3.5 +/- 0.5 from memory. Toe in I used to set to around 1 to 2mm, spec is 0 to 2 from memory

I'm going to adjust the control arms to reduce the caster, forgot which direction to adjust.

Pulling to the left will most likely be the arms out of adjustment with each other altering the thrust angle. Measure distance between wheels each side and compare then measure arms and compare. You may in fact end up with arms slightly different lengths to get the diffs parallel to each other. Mine were about 3mm out with stock arms so could never fix it!
