Apart from our Jeep dealers, were can i get 2 of these rubber bushings( clevis ), listed as upper rear control arm bush's ( in Aussie )....there on each end of the boomerang, from, & is there a better alternative to the OEM units...ie Nolathane or the like.
Just found mine are stuffed, while fitting my lift kit.

By the way there $132 each @ the city Jeep shop in the Melbourne CBD

Polyurethane type bushings will transmit alot of vibration and road noise into the vehicle. It's a unibody, and all the road vibes come through that clevis (unless isolated by rubber). You can probably find one that could fit, or be made to fit, if you want to try them.

I don't know anyone in Australia running the Polyurethane bushings. Ask Pedders to see if they can supply, they can get just about anything. You might have to get something machined to fit. Just a reminder through, I see your going to the Cape, IMHO corrugations will shake your KJ to pieces without that little bit of rubber in there.

KY have a look at these places.

Rear upper control arm to body bushing Part #20. $14.99 USD + shipping

http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-st...liberty-kj.htm

You can also search Rockauto here to find suspension for the Liberty, they have those bushes for 13.81USD

I would steer clear of Nolathane bushes on a 4x4 personally, esp in those particular bushes, with a lift in, they are always bent over at an angle, if you had a set of Nolathane ones made, you would have to have the angle set in them, not just flex them over like we do with the rubber ones. Best thing you can do to prolong their life is to get the diff drop braket from Jeepinbyal, that will go some way to correcting the static running angle of the rear upper control arm, plus, correct stress on the balljoint, and give you some adjustment of the rear pinion angle, to stop driveline vibs, and wear on the rear uni.
