There should be some velcro there to attach to the window surround or the rollbar if the surround is not used. WORD OF CAUTION - the drill type header bikinis look like they kinda go into the no drill header but do not, if the safari top does not easily slide into the no-drill header and when the straps at the back and sides are pulled tight it still does not stay in there, then you might have the wrong top. Just make sure that you have those velcro straps at the front sides pulled REALLY tight and give it a burl on the motorway. You'll be surprised at how well it stays

(Northcoast Wrangler and i had a big discussion about this last week as i bought the wrong bikini and am currently waiting for the no-drill header bikini to arrive - he should have the correct product code if you're chasing it if you're not sure.)

On another note, i was caught in some REALLY REALLY REALLY bad heavy rain tonight with just my safari top, duster and doors on (no jammer) and it didn't even leak a drop. Taking off from a standstill after the water had collected on the roof was another matter...

Default got

Got done in yesterday's storm about 2inches of water thru out the jeep.
still refuse to put the full roof on again.

i have the drill style header with wind jammer and toneau. but parked so there was so much water on the toneau it flowed in the car plus the header has gaps between the window surrounds. but the 3 pieces cost $400 new so i still very happy.

I've had the Bestop bikini top with no drill header (on my hardtop) for a couple of years now, via USA4x4. Works a treat and is the best on really hot days - gives some shade - and catches some cool air from the aircon. You do get a bit of water in when it rains, esp if stopped for any length of time. Btw, the easiest way to attach it is to do up the velcro around the roll bar on each side, then pull the whole thing forward and snap the flexible nylon 'edge' into the groove on the front of the header. Then do up the straps - a couple of minutes and off you go!

Ok, i just got caught in some pretty bad weather tonight down at Beaudesert. The Mt Lindsay Hwy is a 100klm zone but i did about 20klm in 1st gear because the rain/hail/golf balls were so bad. FIRST FRIGGIN GEAR and i still couldn't see shiat. It's the worst i've been in for quite a while. Now my jeep has an inch of water in there mostly on the floor behind the front seats and i had to pull the plugs, remove the roof to let it air and lift the carpets up a bit. Hopefully it will dry out tonight So, yes in very heavy rain you will get drenched if not moving very fast. However, everything under the tonneau is dry as it could ever be. That tonneau's sealing ability is amazing!!! It's just the friggin bikini sides that suck!

The biggest issue is the water pooling on the bikini and the tonneau and when you turn a corner or whatever it just pours in the sides. My jeep was parked outside all night with the combo on in the heavy rain and i only really got water into it when i took off There is more heavy rain forecast for the next few days so i might resort to putting the full top on tomorrow if it keeps up.

You need to take off faster so the water doesnt know what happened and doesnt have time to fall
