i like manual, but have started to think the auto way, less things to think about offroad

agree.An auto for offroad would be good in sticky situations but I find they are boring to drive onroad and you cant give them a good thrashing.

Would'nt it depend on the Auto box you use ?

Eg: Al Mac , has a full manual conversion done to his trans ... therefor no clutch.

Then ya got the Auto/Manual valve body conversion... put it in drive ( D ) and it'll drive like an Auto should , Put it in any other gear and it WILL stay there.

Eg : do 100kph drop it into 1st gear then see what happens.
