Don't think there is room for it.

Just a thought, you could just slow down 10kph. Recently added scan gauge to get an actual temp reading. On the drive back from the high country last week, in the heat, I really noticed temp difference between head and tail wind. Click image for larger version

Id pull the rad out and clear the huge amount of shit that builds up between rad and AC condenser i cleaned mine in the car and then when the fan motor crapped out and i got the super duper Spal fan motor and adapter off of the guy recommended to me on here. I pulled the rad out and cleaned it properly it was 30-40% blocked with mud, bugs and composting leaves grass seeds etc. never gotten hot since no matter how hot outside. The factory fan and rad is really quite good as far as heat shedding goes. Ill see if I can find the contact details for the Fan motor adapter guy.

Is mopar coolant clear in colour?

Mopar HOAT coolant is orangy red in appearance.
Obviously dont get the searing temperatures in the UK as you guys do, as when I got it changed out last year at 63,000 miles along with the VM timing belt & water pump, it was still in good nick, just lost a little of its colour.

I agree this definitely works. I found slowing to around 90kms made a big difference in running temps

Yep good call. This is also a problem that can make your car run hot. I also gave mine a good clean before my trip but unfortunately wasn't my issue

I had done 200,00km before I ran into temp problems, my 07 CRD copped a Yellow explsion of Locust out at Wagga Wagga just prior to XMAS.

2mths later 39 degs coming back from the toronto I was luggin up the hill at Mooney Mooney when I noticed my Temp gauage creeping up, back off 10kms an hr no diff, back to 90kmhs up the hilll and it stabilized and eventually on the flats it dropped back.

When I got back to sydney my AC condensor was blocked completely.

went to Supercheap and bought some low acidic shit and spent 2 hrs soaking the condensor and spraying the shit, evenyually i got it clean, dont use a guerney as it will damage the fins

I was running a stock Mopar steel bar.

if youre running something that blocks are flow you are just asking for trouble !!!

extra heat means less power which means terrible fuel economy.
