I got the lift kit, bar and winch put on at the same time so I don't know if there was a difference or not. I know that not long afterwards the lift had sagged to 19mm in the front. I had to get extra lift put in. As for clearance, I believe that by putting on the new bar you get better clearance in the front. The original plastic bbar seemed to be lower in front of the tyres so I think the approach angle is now greater.

Thanks Fouros & BahBah. I spoke to ARB today about this and they agreed that I would need to change the front springs to cater the bar. Was told that best thing is for me just to sit tight and wait for the bar to come in and then make the decision. They are holding back abit on advise on what would work better on this one untill they get the car and bar in as they have not had a Rennie or 05 bar in yet to install. Time table I hope is still end on this month for the installation.
