Just remember that buying the fridge is the easy part. They look great in the shop and sound great but they need so much more. A decent battery, you will need to wire up a decent 12volt system including isolators and depending on how far from the battery source you have your fridge you will need to use the correct gauge wiring.
I use the Waeco 50ltr for 2 adults and 2 kids and it is a ripper.

Depends what you want it for exactly - for food or drinks, etc.

I use a 32UP Waeco (new unplugged) - it has it's own built in battery which lasts for about 12 hours at -2Celc. This is great for keeping your food cold especially bbq meats, milk, cheeses, bacon and eggs for brekky etc.

I used this bad boy over the easter weekend and loved it. I ran it off the car during the day and then switched it over to it's internal battery as the sun went down. It was still on about 20% in the morning.

The size is also perfect for a single day out - you can fit lunch and a six pack in there no problems - but for a long weekend I usually stick the beers and drinks in an ice esky and just use the Waeco for food.

Only downside is the size - 32 Ltrs is pretty small - wouldnt be good for a family, but for me and the missus over the Easter Weekend it was perfect.

i also have the 32UP
for the two of us it is big enough

theres on need to put a case of beer in it... it's a fridge not an eski
just put 3 or four in, when you take on out you put a new one in.... simple

i went with the unplugged because i didn't want to spend the coin on three dual battery systems
