I think I've said it before, 245/75/16. Those Mickey T ATZ's are Mickey Mouse!!

In a 245/70/16 maybe those new 694 Bridgees, come in a LT so, pretty good that.

Yeah, agree on the Bridgestone D694 LTs. I have just had the 245/70s put on and I am very happy with them. Price was $250 per tyre (balanced, mounted, and alignment done).

Yeah i told the guy there was a bit of work on the front end but it was just an over the phone quote. The obvious choice is ARB based on there experience and 4x4 expertise but for $150 how can you argue with that. Hell i am happy if they charge a little extra i am still a heck of allot better off. I figure that quote was if i get the Grabbers from him as well, so i'll end up spending over 1k with him. He did say they don't really do 4wds but they do allot of Bombadores and falcon set ups so i figure they have a bit of knowledge.

I duno, you guys think should take it to ARB? It's not so much about the extra cost, it's more the connivence of taking it to the one place. I'm just being lazy.... welllllll and alittle bit tight...

hmm the Grabbers look at little more aggressive than the D694s and the 5 rib Micky Ts (they don't make the 4 rib in 245/75)..

The Grabbers have a similar pattern to the BFGs but with some outer lugs

It may be better going with these. They have a good track record, esp on hard sharp stone/rock. Prob the most popular tyre up north (as in Pilbara north - chipping country) and i would say that they would suit the shale driving you do.

The price is pretty good too.

Why not keep the road tyres and get MTZs or STTs as ya weekend wheels?

Yeah i was originaly going to do that but i know that i will get lazy. That's why i want put on tyres that are half way to both.

Plus i am hopng to sell both my current 18" rims and near new tyres, that was part of the sales pitch to the wife. Selling the tryes should be easy enough on ebay, alot of X5s, rangies and the likes are running 18s but the rims might take a little longer....

Which brings to mind a question. Can you fit 4x4 rims on to a normal sedan? i know stud patterns needs to be the same but are they just generally too wide? The more cars my that can fit my rims the bigger my market becomes..hehe
