I Have Ome Lift 60mm With Bridgestone Desert Duellers 245/70/16, Seems To Be A Good Combination. No Rubbing On Guards And The Tyres Preform Well On And Off Road, Even In The Wet, Fox

Default Tyres for the KJ

I did some research on the internet as regards prices for 245/70/R16. Your main stream brand tyres I considered were way over priced. I ended up buying Triangle brand tyres from Tyrescashandcarry in Brisbane. I ended up getting them a lot cheaper than main stream. I consider them eighty percent bitumen and twenty percent offroad type of tyre for what I generally do. There is not any rubbing in the front when on full lock. I have only done about two thousand kilometers so far and seem to be going well

Went and bought a set of D694 LT today.
So far I'm impressed with the quiteness. I can't tell any different from the old wranglers. They have a nice deep tread as well so I expect to get a good mileage out of them.

So the STT's on the steelies & the D694 LT on the alloys for around town? I have 694LT on the work truck & am happy so far. How many K's did you get out of the Wrangler S4's?

I only got 57K out of the S4's. That was mostly due to the shoulder being worn preamaturely. Hopefully the aliignment I have had done will prevent the same from happening to my new tyres.

Still have the 6 STT's for play but one tyre has a few big chunks chipped out of em and the other has a plug right next to/on the shoulder.
