Baby Powder works really well on squeeky belts.

( Don't ask why??? My Boss used it when I did my apprenticeship...Worked well.)

I replaced the radiator, flushed the cooling system and destroyed the SPAL thermo fan all in one day... I've never had issues refitting the SPAL before maybe the fact that I was working in a torrential downpour didn't help

Thankfully I've got a DC 16" fan from yesteryear laying around my shed (unused), hence I'll need to chop off the mechanical fan pulley bearing assembly, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be checking & rechecking fan clearance (and looking for any foreign debris)

Today, apart from fitting my modified SYE I removed my late model intake to try and regain some of the lost fuel economy.....

I wonder how long before it starts pinging again??????

Just got home and looked at the Jeep. One day I'll get to drive it...

Is that Holden V8 goodness I see lurking under the bonnet, Nakkas??Very nice

Did some ringing around yesterday getting prices for fixing up my front brakes. To overhaul the calipes it's cost me $155 each sideLast year it cost my dad $40 less.I'm now deciding whether I will bite the bullet and put new calipers on which will cost me only $20 more.I'm going to fix up both sides even though the left hand caliper has been the problem child thus far but maybe I'll spread it out a little and get on caliper overhauled at a time.I don't know I'll figure something out, just want it back on the road again.

Maybe I'll ask Santa for a little help.........

You can always fit some secondhand ones for a lot less if you know who to ask....
