Decided I'd give Plasti Dipping the rims a go. Seems to have come up with a really good result, will see how they last and how they clean up after trying them in the mud
Lifted 2.5" with AEV kit, steering stabilizer relocation and terraflex quick disconnects, 285/70/17 Federal MT's for good measure, will be plasti dipping the rims this week . Huge thanks to Global 4x4 for getting this sorted, their sales and aftersales service has been nothing short of outstanding. Full warranty on my lift kit and I get to keep factory warranty as well makes it a kit I would recommend to anyone. (flex pics to come) lol
Where did you get the Federals from? I'm looking at the same tyres.

What did you mean by that? Any lift kit (fitted properly) will still retain factory warranty on all remaining parts, unless a failed part was caused by the lift. ie, if you jack it up 4in and the stock driveshaft joints fall apart, or you stick 35's on a 3in back space rim and the front wheel bearings or ball joints shat themselves, you will not likely be able to claim warranty claim on them.
