The little box at the back of the head should have two holes in it, that is were water pool's in heavy rain and escapes.

Mmm I want / need a snorkel, but whats on the market at present is ie: not aesthetically pleasing to the eye to suit the lines of the GC

Yep not much to choose from but looks are secondary to the assurance it gives when you do hit a dip full of water..Better than a write off if you do gulp enough to hydrolock your donk...Jeep warranty won't cover it so the $600.00 cost of a snorkel is peanuts...Kinda like it now so you do get use to it.

Thanks Wanderer, nice rig by the way, been 4wding for 30+ years and that's why I want/need a snorkel but I`m over the vacuum cleaner head look, so I,m looking into the Desert racing induction systems. cheers
