Interesting - I'm waiting for mine to arrive in the mail as well! He's a nice guy to deal with.

Yep Looks like a Tray on the Door.
What i have is too heavy also i want to lower centre of gravity.
So im either removing the Blackwidow Twin Draws Which has a Fridge on top with MSA Drop Slide, put the fridge on the floor with this Stove/Fridge Slide, and have removable Boab Draw/Box next to the fridge, OR I'll Cut the Blackwidow in half and just have One Draw and strap Boab Storage Boxes on top only when i need them.
Storing my cook top in the draws and then having to set up a table first to cook is a pain, This is a simple all in one solution. I Want One

I sold my Dropslide...it was just too heavy. In my 2 door I'm more n more weight conscious. I would be interested in the AT slide and stove weight.

Hey mal could i get a pic of your draw set up & dropslide?????
Just curious to see how it all fits mate, i'm a little concerned the part that raises as the fridge "drops" will foul on the jeep

Was discussing with a mate who just got the MSA drop slide.
When I get to it I'll look at a DIY slide out to extend the drop slide past bumper so it can be fitted lower. Something similar to the AT setup with the inner draw underneath as well.

If you like i will be selling it later, only been in the car for a short while.
looked up Specs and the DS40 dry weight is 35KG
if the shipping weight of the AT Draw is 70Lbs thats 30KG, therefore less once unboxed, lighter still without Stove which id only have in if going camping.
I reckon its a good unit, their composite draws will be light too.
|
I agree. With stove the slide would be approx 26kg. All up 25% KG ahead of dropslide. Checked up on fridge stats.
My Waeco 50L is slightly smaller than the ARB 50 Quart on AT web site in all dimensions and weight so will fit.
I feel a purchase comin on. My wifes OS so anything goes
