Installed new $35 safety cutout switch for the LPG only to find out it was a faulty wire connection that caused the stalling... oh well, I have a spare now!

Default Good & Bad today

I got down & dirty replacing tha Crank Angle Sensor - didn't solve my problem

On the other hand, I did finish off the first stage of my home-brewed snorkel.

With some plumbing supplies & a pod style air filter I've routed my air intake to the cowl beneath the windscreen.
The only drama I had was the car stalling on LPG when I came to a stop or even backed off on the skinny peddle. Turns out to be a common problem with LPG & snorkels. A bit of advice from an LPG mechanic, some plastic tube, a couple of fittings & 1/2hrs work problem solved: a balance pipe from the airbox to the diaphragm in the convertor.
Some pic's:

Stage II will be to route some ducting through the cowl to the front guard to a snorkel I'm yet to fabricate

Pics as requested .....

Whats behind the outer panels ....

Pax side has had a "carefully cut" inspection port provided just for your benefit ...

Looking up & in the "inspection port" at the outside of the plenum chamber.

Another "careful cut"

In the plenum chamber & looking over the cabin/blower fan intake towards the outside ... about as good as a photo as I could get ... not much room in there.

The patch of daylight at the lower rhs .... is where the bonnet arm is

Big Dave, those arms look very familiar..... Which mounting hole did you use for the uppers at the diff, I don't know why there are 2 sets of holes, maybe that will become more apparent in the coming weeks

Thanks for those pic's Carves, greatly appreciated & well done
Where there's a will, there's a way

Maybe I could route the intake to the blower/fan intake; might be a bit noisey in the car but water crossings would be good provided the cabin didn't fill with water
