I was just about to refresh this topic for 2011 with "Jeep'ers" progress news.

Do you think this would/could be adjusted to suit the KJ

I'm kinda thinking "Maybe"

Cut away some, just use whats needed, But would really need to actually look at it, and compare with a KJ towbar to look at mounting.........

towbar mounts look similar but I would think that attaching it to your
current towbar would be better, you would just have to put up with the
way it looks, give until March when the shed is built and I will make you
an RHS one. We can have a look at using the orginal bumper ends and
a steel center section.

I'd be interested in a tow bar mount one before my Cape Trip. I saw a nice swing away bike carrier on a Land Cruiser (I think it was a Thule) but it looked really strong. Only issue is I'd want a recovery point built into the receiver section down below. Sign me up.

Yeah that was one of my original thoughts Jason, or even just barwork in behind the standard bumper with just the swingarm poking thru a couple of holes.

No hurry, just saw that one and got my mind thinking about it again.

Yes Glen it would be good to have one, as well as a Jerry can holder too..

I'm getting kinda anxious to get on with some solution as the rear tyre mount is starting rattle again. I would like to avoid paying for a 3rd repair job!!!
