Did you scrape the sides anywhere? A lot of vids i have seen show some very tight cut outs.

As for the tyre discussion, you should be fine, I have 285/50/20 on mine and slightest rub in park mode, however when I did Googs Tk with a bunch of other Jeeps, we realised mine being a 2012 sat higher on all settings compared to the others that were there which was strange. My normal height is same as the newer models OR1 and yes it is all factory links etc
Yours looks friggin schmick mate with 285's n SRT Rims...just 'looks angry' sittin there...

Never gonna have to worry about 'Gina' drinking creek water....I just aint that brave anymore

Haha, it does look good doesn't it
It's looking a little unloved at the moment, spiders have moved in to various spots around her, I have been going out and running it for 10 mins or so every couple of days. My right rear airbag is losing pressure over the course of a few days, guess ill just have to replace the lot, haha.
Mrs took me for a burn in it today to Bunnings, although with 1 arm i am fairly useless at Bunnings, haha

This was at Mistake Creek...I think it was as none of the crossings are marked.
I really should have had a guide to get up on that ledge as I missed it and was hung up with one wheel either side. The Jeep moved sideways toward the wall when I tried to move.

Took an hour with a highlift jack, 6 x maxtrax and a winch out to get me free...

Nice wheel lift going in...lol

Bloody hell that brought back some memories but I was steering a G60 or Landrover over similar tracks in southern NSW, before it was all locked up that is.... always terrified I would sit on the bull bar and where you got stuck my biggest hate about independant suspension is wheel travel.....................

A trip that you will remember for evermore for sure................

Last video I'll bore you with...this crossing is the very first you hit on the OTT about 5kms in from Bramwell Roadhouse...Palm Creek.
Couldn't get out due again to huge wombat holes and soft sand. Mate in his FJ just got up with rear diff locked and plenty of bouncing...

Palm Creek - YouTube
Nothing boring about it - keep them coming! It's great to see GCs being used in a way that few dare to, and proving that they are truly capable.

Were you in low range for the attempted climb out? I'm assuming yes as I think I can hear upshifts. It's such a shame that they don't hold gear in Low, but I guess it's better than an exploded transmission...
