Lurve my jeep but whats the go with the key thing. Whats the best plan of attack to get the damn remotes working properly. As for remembering the seat or mirror settings its just a joke. The keyless remote is my only gripe so I'd be very greatful if someone can recommend the best way to go about getting it sorted out.

stand 3' away from vehicle, place right hand on left elbow, lift left foot off the ground, spinning counterclockwise on right foot while reciting waltzing matilda backwards in a falseto voice, all the while pushing the button with your nose.
it worked for me until they came and took me away.

This remote key problem! Well like everyone else I've danced around a bit trying to get it to fire up,and discovered two things. If you open the rear hatch, stand back and point the sucker at the overhead console, bingo,it works fine, why,I'm pretty sure it's the window tint, try it..

This is the secret - never fails for me. But it happens only very rarely.

Replace the receiver unit in the passenger side door and it'll fix everything. The dealer will tell you it's just your remote but when they check the unit, they'll find it's broken. They must have some very dodgy parts in them, they all seem to die!
Having replaced it under warranty I now have 15m range!! Sure beats all the mucking around i used to go through!!
