To answer some questions
Body is bolted to the frame through the floor.
To get it registered, get it weighed, get a vin and pay the rego, not to hard hopefully.
Ply will be structural for the outer walls (A grade glue with C grade outer plys D grade inner) the roof will be exterior grade hardwood ply with B grade outer and C inner) the interior walls will all be furniture grade ply. The outside walls will be painted and the roof epoxed and then lacquerd (UV protection). Basically it'll be as the pics show.
I'll have a look at that polycarbonate for the front windows (which I've now made bigger)
Spare is under the rear.
I looked at those trailers but max payload is 600kg (Which should be enough) but I want to run brakes and bigger tyres so need a bigger axle.
Not sure on an awning yet, might use that sail guide stuff that the ropped edge awning slides into, trouble is it isn't as big as it might look so you probably couldn't stand under it anyway unless the outer edge is higher and the awning slopes towards the camper directing water on to it. I guess I'll see how it goes when I start.
Anyway, some final final pics with the Jeep, this time the XJ is lifted to the same height as mine and is running on 32's (although the wheels are about 17" as I just made the whole wheel bigger, tyre and rim included)
Track is wider than the XJ but the body tucks in behind it.
No more busted rear diffs
Cheers
