Definite, but 2 different ways to go about a lift, thats what im saying. If you took your lift and changed to coilovers, yeh its not cheap (front 14" king coilover w/ remote reservoir p/pair on its own is $1050, wont go into what the king bypass shocks cost) but if you started out with it its a bit different; basic coilovers then add to the setup later if need be. The only real reason why ive ordered my coilover setup is because i highway drove and wheeled a coilover setup for a while recently in Canada and couldnt go back to what I had, thats my reasoning.

Each to their own I guess, yes whatever engineering u need done will be more stringent if components need welding but most know what is required for engineering and what will pass. Majority of modded jk's running 35s or 37s wont have a chance getting engineered....so if your gonna go down that path anyway, make a weapon not a bb gun

Anyway, back to whatever was talked about before I threw the spanner in

Honestly from what people charge these days in AU for lift installs and such, install wont be cheap. I dont bother with that because Im doing the work but im sure the install will be expensive. Im sure that may be a deal breaker for alot.

Slight update and warning.... if you are going to fit shocks that are significantly longer than the lift you have, make sure the fully open length of the spring is at a minimum the same as the shocks open length.

Otherwise you risk the spring becomming unseated and perhaps popping out at full droop - its actually more annoying than dangerous but its still a PITA.
