Cheers, Craig
Craig, have you used it in your WK2?

Yes mate. Started adding it at around 26,000 Klm's.
Now have 47,000 on the clock.

I also run 2 stroke oil but 2ml per litre so 180ml per tank.

Is it quieter when cold - YES

Any improvement in economy - Not that I have noticed

For the cost its piece of mind that the system is being lubricated and the Marine 2 stroke is also supposed to have cleaning agents as well.

Our around town economy was around 10.5 after tune and since 275 55 20 tyres went on its now about 11 -11.2.

Before tune and 2 stroke it was about 12.

Cheers

I ran Tcw3 in my wk2 for about 6 months and it definitely ran quieter and my oil was a lot cleaner but I'm not sure if that was a result of the catch can i put on or the tcw3. Mine was out of warranty when I started using the 2 stroke because i couldnt find a tcw3 without dye in it. So just something to think about if you do have an issue and it's under warranty they might void it if they realise there is 2SO in the tank.

Thanks, I don't think my engine is especially noisy but I will give it a shot because I like this sort of thing. Anyone got advise on brand of 2SO they use?

I prefer the Penrite TC-W3 personally. Costs about $110.00 - $120.00 for a 20Lt drum.
Any top brand oil marine two stroke oil should be ok, as long as it is low ash mineral oil.

So I have so far ran 200km on my first tank without 2SO in the last 5000km, I always run BP ultimate anyway and so far my average has slowly risen to 11.8 from 11.2.

Also its noiser when cold again as well.

Once I drain this tank next one will have 2SO in it and will see if it goes down again.
