just washed the block down and honed the bores , cleaned it up and washed again , all looks good , I got to try and find somewhere that can hone out the pin end of TWO rods , ill be going with the cast crank using bi metal mains , BUT when comes to the connecting rods ill check to see the size between the big end and bearing (yeah that plasti gauge stuff) if clearance small enough ill use a 5w 30 , if to big but in range ill use a 10w 30 hot weather ill go with a 5w 40 or 10w 40 , but like most of the year in vikky its cold , if the clearance is out , (too small) ill have to revert to tri metals.
