7098 is only available in 17"or 18". The 17x8 would be $133.99 each, $669.95, shipping on 5 rims would be $326.

Same rims over here with Aussie suppliers are being quoted at $350+ each. Seems like a no brainer to me. I was dealing with Bryan at 4wd dot com. Prices quoted are US$ so works out a few bucks cheaper due to the exchange rate. Also bringing 5 in still keeps you under the customs duty threshold.
Where was the quote from??

As stated it was from Bryan at 4wd dot com. From the US. Quote shows cost of delivery to Brisbane and still comes in under the $1000 US. With the current exchange rate you will save a few dollars on that. Obviously being a US supplier he is not a sponsor of this site, but I did try a sponsor as my first option, but the figures just didn't stack up.

Bear in mind, if you get the wrong size or style after it arrives, you are left with them, as the cost of shipping back is not worth it. So consider carefully, call them on Skype and talk out your purchase before you pull the trigger.

As for tyres, I havent tried to import them, as although they are alot cheaper in the US, I am in Qld so am limited to 33's, which means it is not worth the exercise. Maybe different for the larger sizes but cannot comment.
