In the US, they generally lift the front taller than the rear to remove the factory rake, eg, a 3.5" lift is generally 4" up front and 3" at the back. I have 825mm back and front, so the flares are level, but there is still a small rake. the hard top, side steps and chassis still slop down a little, but i am happy to keep it level.
lifting the jk is a black art.. i'm happy with what ive got, seems shane knows his stuff at suspension stuff, the length of the coils is in the part numbers in mm

FR-510mm/525mm
RE-445mm/460mm

i have front and rear adjustable trackbars, do you think i need adjustable control arms with this lift???

That is what it is all about - being happy with it.

U definitely need caster adjustment at that height. At a guess, you would have 2.2 to 2.5 deg of caster. I would seriously consider the AEV drop brackets instead of the LCA's. U have enough height for them.

Yeah, stock figures are a bit of a black art too - mine was 526 front 509 rear wheel centre to guard straight from the showroom floor with 70km on it (that I put 50 of those on in a test drive ).

Mine is now level after now lifting the front 69mm and the rear 86mm! So much for the forward rake at stock! Mine now sits 595mm wheel centre to guard on all 4 wheels (815 bottom lip of rim to guard).

Wonder if anyone has put them with stock flares, or I may need to get the saw out...
id say cut the stock ones mate, 3" with flats or cut flare is a must

what other parts did you order with your kit? i have the full ppm steering rack setup and all 8 adjustable arms. drives like stock again.

Just the lift for now, save up and i'll get some other stuff later on.

How much of the tyre is sticking out from the flat flares? Assuming they'd stick out further if you cut the stock ones?

mine wouldnt stick out more than 1" bearing in mind that bills flares are 1.5" wider than stock. depending on what backspace you are going to run you could be sticking out anywhere from 2.5"+...

where are you located? more than welcome to come and have a look before you make your mind up.
