I've been waiting since the start of the year for my long Ranger tank to come. Finally I'm told it will be here next week.

I had ARB fit mine. From memory it took 4 to 5 hours to complete the job. I'm supposed to be going away this weekend but if it doesn't happen I'd be happy to give you a hand, even if it's just to use mine to see how it all goes together.

Decided I'd de-rubicon the car today.

So covered one side up with a schnorkel.

Got the tigerz11 one after reading very few bad reports on here and decided i'd give it a go.

Gotta admit that i was pleasently surprised with the quality of the snorkel, i wasn't expecting a lot and have expected to not even use it but other than the obvious grinding marks of where the joins are in their cast everything is good. brackets all line up with nutsert holes perfectly, the snorkely fits in to the airbox very snug and properly *clicks* in to place.

Only thing that wasn't right was the crappy instructions (was more than aware of beforehand) and that the rivets are bigger than the holes in the bonnet bracket they provide which wasn't an issue really. just drilled the bracket to suit the rivets, hit them with some spray so theres no bare metal and put them in. fitted nicely!

Cheers for that you have sold me on the tigerz snorkel I've been quoted $139 including shipping.

Looking good.

jeez that sounds a bit steep for postage. $60! tigerz11.com.au no way should it cost almost as much for postage as your schnorkel!

However with all things chinese, mine is fine however i don't know what the next one is like. I would definately block off one end and fill it with water to test for leaks first. thats what i did, taped over the air box end and filled it with water. no issues
