Spent the afternoon watching TV and making up a heavy duty headlight loom, just need to get the H4 sockets and it's done.

Making a relay???? You can buy relays pretty cheap, you don't really need to make 'em.....

Pulled my engine down and found a broken conrod on number one, had left a nice little window in the block for me

Tomorrows job pull the motor out of the donor and then start gathering parts to rebuild and start again (with a snorkel)

Pretty much followed GoJeeps instructions although went with 25A marine cable (a run to each headlight from the relays) which is smaller then the 6mm cable he used but there's no way each light is going to draw anywhere near 25A considering the relay is only 30A and running two lights.
