Ah, stupid me did see that post, haha.
I poked around down there for a while, in the end, I couldn't be arsed with it!
There is what seems to be a grommet with nothing in it in that area, I didn't wanna force anything though it incase it was the a/c drain or something. Def need little girly hands to work on this car. This has sealed the deal, I will def run the cables for second battery from the main battery, haha.
No grass to mow, however I wish I had a bit of land, that was taken at a pit stop 250k's from home had to let the little fella out to stretch the legs, plus I poked around in some abandoned trains that were there, something different.

Having just taken ownership of this 2015 Grand vehicle from a family member, I spent the whole weekend washing, cleaning, spray and wiping, Armouraling and polishing. Don't know adding 'ing' helps but you get the idea.

To say the vehicle looks like brand new is an overstatement, but, it was in pretty good condition overall but was used a work vehicle so inside, the plastics are well used and abused. Not an issue for usability, just unsightly none the less. Will start searching for replacements over the coming months.

Outside, there's no significant issues as the vehicles never been in an accident but just a couple of scratches that are being a bit difficult to get rid of.

At long last took the Grand for a big run of nearly 400km all at a dollar or so, and it ran nicely, did notice that my oil change showed 5700km since last change and its still at 72% so I thought thats pretty good, never bothered with it much, does very little toottling around, its a 100 odd km round trip to big shops.................. Do another 400km on Monday to go back home, showing 8.9l/100km .......... It's not shiny its all covered in road crap form the rain....................

Check out my Ride(s)
Smile WK2 Fuel Door - fixed

After stumbling onto a vid on Youtube on how to fix the Fuel Door, I remembered that mine was flopping around a bit.... so I had a go... and was successful.

Once you have it out.... remove the Hinge pin to see how it is actually supposed to be fitted (its has a keyway) as only fits in one direction.

I also drilled the end of the pin and fitted a small split pin once it was all assembled so it wont come out again.

I fit the Offroad Animal rear bar to the WK2 this morning, looks alright, will add some much needed protection and gives rear recovery points and highlift jack points.
However, now the mirror radar things are playing up, says 'Service blind spot system'
I've checked the radar thingo's, they are there, plugged in etc, only thing I can think of is it's had a hissy fit due to being unplugged, hopefully it'll sort itself out as it says it's compatible with all sensors on their site.
