Remember what happened when you got rid of the red tj, and that bmw you ended up in, how long did it last?
Now Nick from memory it went something like this....
The red TJ I purchased BRAND NEW was a LEMON. Lost count of warranty work that I had to get done, so I had it for a year or so and traded it in on the Bmw. Which I loved but missed being able to go over gutters and off the bitumen.
Sold the Bmw as I was suppose to be going overseas and to finance a roadtrip with an ex we did from Bris - Melb etc You should remember that. If only I'd waken up then.

Then the near death accident in the little car I bought and that was it. Went back to another jeep. Havent had any major issues with this one, just would like more room, more comfort and more room for the dog and still have the back seats in.

I can ask you the same question.... why nick why....did you get your TJ ready to compete. We did 1 winch challenge and then??? I left Brisvegas and last I heard you sold the Heep..... Did u buy another? Did u keep it? I'm outta the loop.

Why? Sounds pretty simple to me. The jeep is staying around, not getting rid of it just yet.

Me?

Leaving home at 5am for work and getting home at 7pm with 250km's of driving between 5 days a week and the same traveling on saturdays with the tj didn't really work out seeing that i was filling up with fuel every day. Yeah I spent thousands on building her to compete. We did that one run, every person I had lined up to be a navigator pulled out. And I got sick to death of spending every spare cent on the TJ.

Honestly. Selling the TJ was the 2nd biggest regret I've had with motor vehicles. The first is building her so ********ing big that I couldn't just take her for a drive without having to worry about being pulled over.

If I had my time again, I'd still have the black bitch and she'd be sitting on 33's and that would be as far as I would of gone with her. Once the better half and I have got our house sorted out, I'll be back into a wrangler.

I've met a few guys up here that drive them and havent run into any problems. The h3 is smaller then my mum's landcruizer wagon so no road train lisence here but still looking at getting my truck lisence. Your welcome to come pimp yourself out at clown parties with me and jess....welcome to bring your new fur baby too!
Not too sure about pimpin myself out but clowns are cool, so count me in.And yes my fur baby would be coming along with me.She loves the new JK too.Whenever I open a door, she's trying to jump in. I think she likes it so much coz there is more room in the JK than in the TJ.

hey Jeepgirl,

i also test drove the H3 recently, as a due diligence thing before getting a quote on a JK and I was also pleasantly surprised at how nice they are to drive. for $48k on the road for an Adventure is very good value in anyones language.
now I'm seriously looking at it instead of the JK Unlimited. Just wondering whether anyone in the SCJC will forgive me.
