What you are getting is a $650 controller (like every ford being tuned gets) and heavily discounted dyno time. That's cool, when we have results and after the first ten customers pricing will return back to normal and dyno time at most shops is over $100 an hour.
I don't know of any workshops who give out free controllers and tuning.

Sorry mate I wasn't rude at all....tried calling you but you didn't answer....
This is the thing....
The SCT PRODUCT is NEW to the JK.....are you understanding this.....
Why would you charge $950 for a flash tuner and tune on something that has no credibility as yet....also no results.....oh and use the customer as free advertising for his $950 spend and also use his tune in the next 1,000 Jk's as their base tune to start with....
So really the dealer should be more accomadating in price as the software is new and unproven...not to mention the 2 days sitting on the dyno....the other cars that come in won't be doing that I can garentee that....
When the SCT software came out for the Falcons the flash tuner was heavily discounted and tuning was free because it was new and the shops worked with their customer so the word would get out who has the best tunes....
Thats called MARKETING
Every SCT dealer will have their own custom tunes....so my advise is I hope yours knows what he is doing...
