I'm in Coffs Harbour, hence Jeeps'R'Us. I'm no expert, but I think repairing a chassis is a very different thing from repairing a unibody, all the folds and layers are where it gets its strength.
If anyone else wants to have a go let me know. As soon as I can sort the finance out I want it gone.

That section of the body would be a mongrel thing I imagine, as numerous folds and overlaps so it may possibly but be just too hard to cut out and stick a new section in, the shop would certainly need jigs to keep everything aligned, not just a dent and bog shop job, needs a specialist for sure , it certainly would need engineering afterwards so that is a good reason they may shie away and the chance it could end up a can of worms to take the job on if things don't work out is high.

I had a good look around mine the other day when doing a pre trip check over, lots more there when you look close.......
