Peter,

How does your Landlord feel about comps.?

Is it possible to get a DA through?

Beaudesert Shire has been a problem in the past, any ideas?

Change of material use and DA are on the way. Cityview 4x4 park wouldnt be here if it wasnt for Beaudesert council.
We are developing a new 10 stage comp. (not timed but technical) insurance is up to our broker for that. Could use some help setting up though if interested.

??? I didnt hear that Ormeau was closing ?? How the hell are they going to do that ?? They'd have to fence of over 5000 Hectares ??

People will ALWAYS find a way in........

However, this new Bris 4x4 park sounds promising indeed !!

It sure does sound promising. Believe me its worth a visit. And with the help of some of you more dedicated 4 wheelers it will get better and better.

As for Ormeau , remember it is private property, mostly. One main road has been officially closed , I believe and most of the remaining three have been bulldozed for better fire prevention and access. But for the rest it wont need to be fenced. Look at the pine forest , a few security guards or rangers and most of us are scared enough to not set foot in there. Personally I hope it stays open. Maybe fence it , insure it and employ some of us enthusiasts to man the gates , charge a small fee to cover costs (say $5 per car) and heck we would have the best 4x4 park ever. Who knows ?

Cityview, I cant wait to take my Jeep to your establishment - should be good from the reports coming in. Within a year or so, the runs should become more 'established' and make for an entertaining weekend out.

As for Ormeau, I've been going there on a regular basis since i got my 1st Wrangler in 1999. It hasnt changed a great deal, if anything, the runs are getting smoother and smoother with all the traffic! lol! But there are cirtainly some hardcore spots that have developed over time. I've seen/experienced the odd winch or 2 from time to time :P!

Could you email me a map or set of directions Cityview? You can get me at,
stuart@hydraulinkqld.com.au

Cheers,
Stu
